Wish You Cared
My weblog was up before I ever got a main page up, so this came with the debut of the site on October 12th, 2002. This was a really simple layout, and I actually only used Microsoft Paint for it. The characters on the side are Tatsumi, Tsuzuki, and Watari from my favorite anime series, Yami no Matsuei.

Subdued
I actually finished this layout November 10th, 2002, but didn't put it up until December 8th. I had originally put this in frames, and then changed it to tables for the final product. This was a simple layout as well, but I like the colors, and it navigates well.

Pearly Pink
What a name. Haha. Well, this is the second layout of my weblog, completed November 11th, 2002. I really loved this layout when I made it, but I later wished that I had made the title at the top bigger. Anyway, I thought this was a big improvement over the first layout.

Mylène
This is my first layout for Spin, the MP3 downloading site. I featured Mylène Farmer, a French singer, just because this picture of her is so beautiful. This was completed and debuted November 15th, 2002.

Supposedly Fun
I finally got a main page layout up November 22nd, 2002!! I came up with this design in English class one day, and I also took the quote on the side from an essay we were reading in English, David Foster Wallace's A Supposedly Fun Thing I'll Never Do Again. I didn't actually like the essay, but I was really happy with this layout.

#41
My third weblog layout, finished December 7th, 2002. I saw the yellow stripes in a book, Rob Carter's Digital Color and Type, and this layout was born. I was being pretty experimental when I did this layout, but I loved it enough to put it up.

Timelimit
My second index page layout - I really like this. I was just experimenting and playing around in Photoshop, and I really liked the result. The woman pictured is Esther Canas. This was completed December 12th, 2002.
